🚨 TONIGHT! 🚨 Join us for the Unified Ambassador Program showcase at Farmington High School! 🎉 Our incredible students in specialized education programs are taking the stage to show off their talents and leadership as ambassadors for inclusion and Unified Sports. The Unified Ambassador Program is a first-of-its-kind initiative in Utah, empowering students to be the voice of inclusion in our schools. These ambassadors will help guide the district’s Unified Sports programs, promoting unity, belonging, and continued growth of these amazing programs. 📅 When: October 24, 2024 🕕 Time: 6:00 PM 📍 Where: Farmington High School, 548 Glovers Ln., Farmington, UT 84025 Let’s fill the auditorium with love and support for these amazing kids! 🌟 We are proud to sponsor the LIFEsports program at North Layton Jr. High! 🌟 This summer, incoming seventh graders had the incredible opportunity to develop self-control, effort, teamwork, and social responsibility through this amazing program. Over four dozen students participated in a four-week journey, exploring six different sports, engaging in fitness and educational activities, and getting to know their new school and peers. The program culminated in an Olympic-style event with exciting competitions in volleyball, football, soccer, dance, track, and basketball. Congratulations to all the participants, especially the Gray Wolves, who took home the best overall team award! LIFEsports is all about empowering students and equipping them with valuable skills for the classroom and beyond. 📣We had an incredible time at our recent Friendraising breakfast! Our board members invited their friends, neighbors, colleagues, and associates to tour our Layton High teen center and hear inspiring stories from our board president, a generous donor, and a student who once faced homelessness during his first two years of high school. Thanks to our dedicated teen center coordinator, he's now on track to graduate! 🎉 Afterward, we hopped on a school bus, donned hard hats, and toured the under-construction teen living center, discussing how we can better support our homeless students. It was a morning filled with heartfelt stories and a fantastic way to rally support for our most vulnerable youth. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our mission. Together, we're making a difference! 🙌

We're thrilled to share a glimpse of the incredible hands-on learning that took place at the Catalyst Center! A big shoutout to Hughes General Contractors for guiding our students through the basics of heavy equipment operation, forming, setting road base, and grading. 🌟 Supporting Our Students Together This Summer! 🍔 We're excited to share a wonderful initiative in partnership with HB Boys Management, a franchise manager of many Burger Kings in Utah, to aid students in need across several elementary schools throughout the district. Thanks to HB Boys' generous donation, we're handing out punch cards each offering 10 free Burger King meals! 🎈 👑 In addition to the meals, the kids received Burger King crowns and stickers, adding extra joy to their day. Many children rely on school breakfasts and lunches every day and face food insecurity during the summer months when they can't rely on school for those meals. These meals aim to bring smiles and support to students during the summer holidays. A heartfelt thanks to HB Boys for their commitment to our community and for fueling the next generation! We're so grateful for the support of partners like this that are looking out for kids. Together, we can create a brighter future for our children!
