📚❤️ Fostering a Love for Reading – For Everyone! ❤️📚 Thanks to the Cash for Classrooms grant, Clinton Elementary’s library is now more inclusive than ever! 🎉 With an increase in Spanish-speaking students, the library was in need of bilingual books – and now they have a whole shelf dedicated to these learners! One excited student couldn’t wait to show his peers a book in “Espanol” 🇪🇸, and even English-speaking students are checking them out to learn Spanish and connect with their new friends! 🌟 We are proud to sponsor the LIFEsports program at North Layton Jr. High! 🌟 This summer, incoming seventh graders had the incredible opportunity to develop self-control, effort, teamwork, and social responsibility through this amazing program. Over four dozen students participated in a four-week journey, exploring six different sports, engaging in fitness and educational activities, and getting to know their new school and peers. The program culminated in an Olympic-style event with exciting competitions in volleyball, football, soccer, dance, track, and basketball. Congratulations to all the participants, especially the Gray Wolves, who took home the best overall team award! LIFEsports is all about empowering students and equipping them with valuable skills for the classroom and beyond. 📣We had an incredible time at our recent Friendraising breakfast! Our board members invited their friends, neighbors, colleagues, and associates to tour our Layton High teen center and hear inspiring stories from our board president, a generous donor, and a student who once faced homelessness during his first two years of high school. Thanks to our dedicated teen center coordinator, he's now on track to graduate! 🎉 Afterward, we hopped on a school bus, donned hard hats, and toured the under-construction teen living center, discussing how we can better support our homeless students. It was a morning filled with heartfelt stories and a fantastic way to rally support for our most vulnerable youth. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our mission. Together, we're making a difference! 🙌

🌟 Supporting Our Students Together This Summer! 🍔 We're excited to share a wonderful initiative in partnership with HB Boys Management, a franchise manager of many Burger Kings in Utah, to aid students in need across several elementary schools throughout the district. Thanks to HB Boys' generous donation, we're handing out punch cards each offering 10 free Burger King meals! 🎈 👑 In addition to the meals, the kids received Burger King crowns and stickers, adding extra joy to their day. Many children rely on school breakfasts and lunches every day and face food insecurity during the summer months when they can't rely on school for those meals. These meals aim to bring smiles and support to students during the summer holidays. A heartfelt thanks to HB Boys for their commitment to our community and for fueling the next generation! We're so grateful for the support of partners like this that are looking out for kids. Together, we can create a brighter future for our children!
