I cannot adequately describe the excitement I have about using grant money from the @DavisEducationFoundation to work with Dusty Creager, at the cabinet shop, to design some display shelves for our library here at Odyssey.
The day the display shelves were delivered I styled and stocked them with books. As each class came in though out the week, the students had such enthusiasm and excitement when they saw them. The books that were on the shelves became the most important books in the library. Each class would choose all the books on the display, and I needed to continually restock them for the next class.
The display shelves will be a way to display and highlight holiday, new and highlighted author books.
Thank you so much, @DavisEducationFoundation, for awarding Odyssey with this grant money. It was well spent and will be a benefit to our students for years to come.
