Our 6th graders took one last walk down Creekside’s hallways before graduation.
We are so proud of each and every one of you. Wishing you the best of luck as you take your next big step—you’ve got this! https://photos.app.goo.gl/ffYnGDSeWpbDpVJeA

Congratulations to Our School-Wide Attendance Winners!
We’re so proud of all our students for their dedication this year! A special congratulations to our top attendance winners:
Callie – Awarded a brand-new bike for achieving 100% attendance all year!
Mia – Awarded overall winner for our younger students.
George – Awarded overall winner for our older students.
Walt – Honored as the Term 4 100% attendance winner.
We’d also like to give a special shout-out to Caleb, Nora, and Brylee, who generously passed on their chance to win the bike because they already had one and wanted someone else to have the opportunity. What a wonderful example of kindness and school spirit!
Great job, everyone! Keep up the amazing work!

Our fabulous 5th Graders performed their Patriotic Program on May 15th! It is a wonderful program that takes them through the history of our great nation from the beginning to now! Several were able to talk about ancestors of their own who were a part of the growth of our country. In the program, the students are able to honor not only their own ancestors, but all the amazing Veterans and Military men and women that have served or are serving our country as they sing the Armed Forces Medley. There are many songs they perform that teach the students and our audience about our country. It is a great end to our 5th grade study of the United States history!

Lunch with a side of music! While the kids are chatting with friends and eating lunch, Mrs. Henzi plays her violin. It makes lunchtime feel extra special. Thanks to Mrs. Henzi, lunch isn't just about food, it's also about enjoying music! Click the link to watch Mrs. Henzi play. https://youtu.be/bOAO5kRyauA?si=LXmVhn494GtnESdV

Congratulations to Brodie!
Brodie has shown incredible growth this year. He began the year struggling with school attendance and needed extra time each morning to transition into the classroom. I can still remember meeting Brodie at the door some mornings with tears in his eyes, not wanting to go to school.
Everything started to change when he became involved in our mentor program. Brodie was given the opportunity to be a mentor to another student, encouraging positive behavior and consistent attendance. Since then, he’s been excited to come to school and often tells his parents how much he loves being part of the program. He even spoke to the faculty about the positive impact it has had on him, saying he hopes to help other kids who struggle like he once did.
Today, Brodie hardly ever misses school. His attendance has drastically improved, and it’s a reflection of the confidence and purpose he’s gained through mentoring.
Recently, Brodie was called to the office to help comfort his younger brother, who was upset and wanting to go home. Brodie remained calm and encouraging, helping his brother understand how important it is to be in school—and successfully got him back to class.
The change in Brodie has been remarkable. The mentor program hasn’t just helped him—it’s empowered him. We are so lucky to have Brodie at Creekside Elementary, and we are thrilled that he will serve as one of our Mentor Leaders next year.

Our very own Esther Swasey presented to all the principals in the district on a powerful program for math interventions. She did an amazing job!

Our fantastic 6th graders took an epic trip back to Medieval Times. Where the students learned about the feudal system, participated in tournament style games and ended with a feast.
Thanks to our wonderful lunch ladies, and all of our parent support to make this day a great success.

Our fourth-grade students had a fantastic time at this year's Rendezvous! They enjoyed exploring the Trading Post, participating in exciting mountain man games, and trying their hand at leather stamping. A special highlight was the visit from a real fur trapper, who shared their collection of furs.
The day was made even sweeter with delicious scones and refreshing root beer, which everyone loved.
A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success, and to our students for their excellent behavior and enthusiasm throughout the day!
