Welcome back Bobcats! Spring Break is at an end and it's time for One Book, One Bountiful. This year’s book, Duke by Kirby Larson, was chosen for its themes of bravery and courage. It's a story which helps us honor students with family members serving in the military and the perfect connection to Purple Up week!
As we return from Spring Break, we will also be reviewing our P.A.W.S. expectations at school. This is a great time for families to discuss what it means to:
Practice Kindness
Act Responsibly
Work and Play Safely
Show Respect

Reminders
Purple Up Day - Tuesday, April 7th
On Tuesday, April 7th, we invite everyone to wear purple for Purple Up Day in recognition of April being the Month of the Military Child.
Purple Up Day is a chance for our school community to show support for military-connected students and families.
Testing Season Is Here
Your student’s teacher will communicate exact testing dates for your student. Please make every effort to have your student at school, on time, well rested, and ready to do their best.
Sleep helps students stay focused and improve concentration, and eating breakfast is associated with better attendance and stronger test performance.
Playground
As a reminder, to help keep all students safe after school, students should go directly home after dismissal unless they are attending a supervised school activity.
Students may use the playground after school only when a responsible adult is present and actively supervising them.
