What started as a crisp, perfect morning at Oakridge Country Club quickly turned into a day no one will forget. The annual Fore Kids Golf Classic, hosted by Davis Education Foundation, teed off with blue skies, bright smiles, and a field full of golfers ready to make a difference for Davis School District students.
Halfway through the round, the Utah weather decided to join the fun. A sudden storm swept through, sending everyone racing for cover as thunder echoed over the greens. But just as quickly as it arrived, the clouds broke, the sun returned, and the laughter followed. Players headed back out—mud on their shoes, determination in their hearts, and smiles that said it all.
“Watching everyone come together through sunshine and storm perfectly captures what this event is all about,” said Kara Toone, Director of Davis Education Foundation. “It’s community at its best—people showing up, having fun, and supporting kids, rain or shine.”
