Hygiene Kits & Feminine Hygiene KitsMany at-risk students, especially the 1,300 who experience homelessness, lack access to basic hygiene essentials. You can help by collecting items for hygiene kits, assembling hygiene kits, or making a monetary donation. The kits are used at our 6 high school teen resource centers, and distributed throughout the rest of the district as needed.

The following items can be donated individually in bulk, or you can assemble them into hygiene kits. If you are interested in only assembling hygiene kits, and not in gathering/donating the items, contact Ginger Coulam at 801-402-4483 or gcoulam@dsdmail.net to see if there are kits needing assembling.

Meal Gift CardsThere are more than 17,000 students in Davis School District who face food insecurity. School is often the only place where they are guaranteed a hot meal. When students are home for the weekend, or even long breaks such as winter break, they go without. One way to help ensure that these kids have food when they aren't at school is to provide them with meal cards.

Donations:

  • $10-$20 gift cards
  • Purchase cards for fast food or local grocery stores. (i.e. McDonalds, Walmart, Smith's, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Jimmy John's, Winco, etc.)
  • Please deliver cards to the Foundation Office: 45 East State Street, Farmington, UT 84025

Pantry PacksAside from meal gift cards, pantry packs play a vital role in filling food gaps for students when they aren't at school. Pantry packs are assembled and donated to the Bountiful Food Pantry, who then distribute the packs to schools throughout the district each week. For more information on pantry packs, please visit www.bountifulfoodpantry.org
